The rapid spread of Islam, whose reasons and roots are always discussed, is seen as one of the significant historical issues all over the world. Like Christianity, Islam went beyond borders and unlocked other horizons. Islam was revealed in Arabian Peninsula, but today, it has many followers in Asia, Africa, Europe, and America, and among races follow it all over the world. With regard to its development and growth, Islam has a very special feature and that is the speed of its expansion. It actually developed extremely fast not only in Saudi Arabia but also beyond its borders in Asia, Africa and other places. The famous French poet, Lamartine, says: no one is like the Prophet of Islam in three things: heedlessness to material possessions and means, secondly the speed of growth or time factor and the third having a great goal. A man appears and offers an invitation while he does not have any power or strength; even his close relatives and friends stand against him; he rises alone with no companions and forces. But he himself launches his movement and despite many difficulties and adversities, others gradually start to believe in his teachings and follow him.
With respect to the significance of his goal, and the speed of spread of his message in order to achieve his purpose with no material means and instruments, as La Martine says, the Prophet of Islam is unique and exceptional all over the world.
The holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was very strict in principled issues while he was very kind and gentle in personal matters such that he easily forgave and forgot.
