Arabic text and English translation of the Azan (informer worship time of day)
الله اکبر
God is the Greatest (supreme)-4 times
اشهدُ ان لا اله الا الله
I testify there is no deity but God-2 times
اشهدُ ان محمداّ رسول الله
I testify Muhammad is the messenger of God-2 times
اشهدُ ان علیا ولی الله
I testify Ali is friend of God-1 times
اشهدُ ان علیا حجته الله
I testify Ali is promoter of God’s message-1 times
حیّ علی الصـلوة
Come to pray-2 times
حیّ علی الفلاح
Come to true prosperity-2 times
حیّ علی خیر العمل
Come to the best of all actions-2 times
الله اکبر
God is the Greatest (supreme)-2 times
لا اله الا الله
There is no deity but God-2 times
